Create Links from URLs - Foxit Reader 2.2

I am an ardent user of Foxit Reader. Have been for a while. I downloaded and started using version 2.2 just recently.

In the Preferences, I have checked "Create Links from URLs". Fair enough.

But when it does create a link from a URL, it converts all alphabets to lower case. Hence, in some casses, when the URLs have upper case letters after the first slash, I get an error 404 (Page not Found).

Can you please make it so that the conversion of URL to Link does not interfere with the case of the alphabets.

Look at the text in blue, then look at the text in the error prompt in foxit_error.jpg. See the difference?

This link fortunately links to google picasaweb, so it is intelligent enough to automatically redirect to the correct page, but if I have linked to another everyday website, I'll surely get an error 404.

I first thought that URL's were not case sensitive, but it looks like some are. Development should look into this and make sure when someone clicks on the link, the case is not changed.

Hi,
i recently updated to the newest version of 2.3 (Build 2923),
and it seems, that thos problem is not fixed yet.
Some links are case sensitive, and Foxit Reader converts them to lower case (Acrobat does not ;-))
Are there plans to do this ?

This is a known issue which has been reported to developer for processing.

I can confirm this bug with 2.3 version.
URLs are still converted to lower case.

If I click link in PDF then following dialog is dispayed:
The document is trying to connect to the site:
http://some_domain.com/watch?v=pYGIunxAlNY
If you trust the site, click "Yes", otherwise click "No"
So as you can see links are properly coded in PDF (with upper case if needed), but after clicking "Yes" link is launched by Foxit in browser as lower case URL - causing 404 or similar errors.

This is very annoying.
