Registration problem of Foxit Reader 1.1 for WM

Colleagues,

I'm experiencing a serious problem with registering my Foxit Reader for WM version 1.1.
The problem is that my DeviceID is reported to be not able to be retrieved, so I can't even try inputing an authorization code. With previous beta versions of Foxit Reader for WM it was not the case and I could register the application properly.

I opened a support ticket some 3 weeks ago, queried about its status via email but no replies from support yet and no updates to the ticket. What's happening? :1_26:

I have Asus A636N with original WM5, no firmware updates applied ever.

This maybe caused by the SDK API GetDeviceUniqueID called failed, GetDeviceUniqueID takes an additional parameters of an application defined char array, and uses a one way hash to combine the real device id and the char array parameter to generate the new 20 byte code. The GetDeviceUniqueID is a very nice solution, but only works with windows mobile 5.
