Since UPX (upx.sourceforge.net) is opensource, it would be a better alternative.

nah,upx compress well but not so good like pecompact

Nah... Have you really tried UPX 3.x? It includes also an LZMA engine as in PECompact.
Anyway, if you are looking for a good exe compression, the try UPack.

strange,never heard of upack,but i'm not if PECompact uses lzma to compress,i guess is a skill of their own,i hope the devs compress 2.3 with PECompact,lots of bandwith will be spared i believe.
