Adobe Acrobat Reader Not Installed

There is a certain site that gives me the following message:

"Viewing this information requires the Acrobat Reader , which you can download free of charge from Adobe Systems..."

Is there a way for me to get around this problem. I sure don't want to install Acrobat Reader.
