Error opening linked PDF: "Couldnot open file"

I have a pdf that links to another pdf (the filename is IG.pdf). However when I click on the link in the first pdf, I get the error message "IG.pdf Couldnot open file". (Note that there is no space between the words "Could" and "not"). IG.pdf does exist in the same folder as the first pdf file, and does open up if I use Adobe Reader.

Any ideas?

Hi,

I think you should check IG.pdf and make sure it is not corrupted. If unfortunately it is damaged or something, you may try Advanced PDF Repair at http://www.datanumen.com/apdfr/ This tool is rather useful in salvaging damaged PDF documents. Hope this helps.

I have the same problem. from the best I could understand it's because it doesn't like that path to the file. I have a path (in windows) that constains folders with names in Hebrew. I didn't use to have this problem. it just started.
