Google Desktop Search and IFilter plugin

Hello Foxit PDF IFilter,

Will you please help me install Foxit as a plugin to Google Desktop Search (http://desktop.google.com/). I've search Google Desktop Plugins (http://desktop.google.com/plugins/index/) but unable to find Foxit PDF IFilter. It is my desire to use Google Desktop Search instead of Windows Search (aka Windows Desktop Search).

Foxit PDF IFilter didn't support plug-in to Google Desktop Search now.
I have report you suggestion to the IFilter Team.

I too would rather have IFilter work with that than having to switch to MSN search, since I already have Google Desktop search installed and indexed.

Any earlier post suggested Foxit Software may consider support of Google Desktop Search. I too prefer this search engine. Are there any plans to support GDS?

Hello All,
Foxit PDF IFilter only apply to Microsoft search engine, so it does not support Google Desktop Search.
But now Google Desktop Search can search the content of pdf files by itself.
Please download the latest version of Google Desktop Search and trial again.
