Hi,
we are interested to install Foxit at an CITRIX metaframe environment, as we have several problems with Adobe.
I found some threads that it is possible, sometimes with problems in Outlook.
My major problem, before we start are 2 questions - where I found no answer in the forum :-(

1. is it possible to passivate update-function and web-access from Foxit Reader?

2. where are the setup saved
I found a discussion about a ini-file, which I prefer and found these ideas very good !
Furthermore I found a xml-file (lang_de_de.xml) where are the menu-structure was written. May be possible something can done with this before/during installation?

Maybe someone of the team can help me.
thanks in advance + best regards
Juergen

Hello Juergen, Thanks for your comments.

1. Why do you think update-function and web-access should be passivated?
2. Have you seen the ini-file in the setup folder? Do you have any idears what can be done with the xml-file before/during installation ? (I assume I've appreciated fully what you mean).

Tks

Hi Christina,

thanks for your fast reply.

1) as our policy doesn't allow internet-access from CITRIX. To avoid error-messages and problems for the users I want to disable that.

2) sorry, no I havn't seen, as I download the exe-file. May be it's better to download the zip? I thought the xml-file was used during installation?

best regards
