View Full Version : Typewriter Does NOT Adjust if Document is Rotated

Hi:
Just downloaded 2.3, and I first want to thank you for fixing the problem I was having with the mouse wheel in 2.2 scrolling 3-lines (even though the mouse was set to 1).

I have noticed one issue. I loaded a document that I had to rotate in order to read it. However, when I attempted to activate the typewriter, I noticed that any typing follows the original orientation of the document when it was opened. In my case, any typing would be vertical, rather than horizontal. Is there a way that I could adjust the typing to fix this issue. It would be nice to be able to choose the typing orientation because there are situations where you may want to type vertically (margins, etc.)

Thanks for your help, and keep up the great work.

SA Jack

I'm getting the same problem with any document I generate in Landscape format. The typing will only function vertically. Thought I was going mad at first.

This makes 2.3 unusable and I had to go back to 2.2 in order to do my normal document annotating. Will this forum thread be updated when the problem is fixed, or do we have to check into Foxit every day manually to see if it's been done yet?

This highlights another problem with Foxit that it does not automatically alert you when updates are made. One has to manually check every day.
