[BUG] Bookmarks won't stay hidden in 2.3

2.3 is driving me crazy; open doc, View/remove ticker from Bookmarks, Bookmarks let tab hides itself,

close and reopen file, but Bookmparks left tab reopens:1_23:

And also please make it possble to disable the spellchecker when using typwriter.
