Printing defaults for Foxit Reader

I've been using Foxit Reader for like years, to print letters (with a color letterhead).
Somehow, in the beginning, the print setting DEFAULTS got set for Grayscale Printing (a checked box in my Canon printer preferences). This only happens for Foxit printouts. I am going nuts trying to find where to change the default print settings. I have to change this every time in my printer's preferences dialoge and it wastes time.

Hell Vincenti,

Normally the Grayscale in not the default setting. To dig into this issue, please give me the following info:
the Printer model.
the operation system.
an image shot for the checked box.
if it's the document specific, this document is needed.
any other info that helps.
