Hello All,

Please note that Foxit Reader for Windows Mobile Pocket PC V1.2 Beta has just been released.

This new version has introduced some new features and improvements listed below:

Document Reflow: Reflows text to fit the screen size when you view a tagged PDF file by simply selecting Reflow item from the Menu. This new feature makes reading on mobile devices much easier, without manually scrolling from left to right anymore.

Multi-Language Support: Makes it possible for users to switch UI languages with multilingual UI packs. Click here (http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/mobile/wm_mullan_down.htm#ppc) to download the language package.

Many Bug Fixes.

Most excellent. I'm eager to try this out, particularly for the reflow feature.

First - thanks for the update!

I use the freeware PDFCreator to generate PDF's from a variety of files - including MS Word. This does not generate tagged PDF, and so does not support reflow. I find that leaving the Adobe Reader 2.0 conduit installed provides some attempt at populating tags in untagged PDF files to support reflow - which Foxit then uses. But this isn't very pristine (in the PPC Adober Reader or in the Foxit reader).

So - I guess my question is this: is there any freeware PDF generator that is capable of generating tagged PDF? Or is there another solution than using the Adobe ActiveSync processor to tag PDF prior to transfer to the device?

Thanks!

So far, no foxit products can create tagged PDFs. But we're doing Auto Reflow now.
