foxit work with windows vista?

It is not written anywhere I can find and searching these forums comes up blank as well as regards Vista.

But does foxit reader work with Windows Vista software?

I just got a pc with vista on it and most free software doesn't indicate if works with Vista, so am posting on forums asking such.

I've not yet downloaded it, but am sure won't have any problems.

Hi,

I just installed Vista Ultimate last month as a dual-boot with XP. Of course I wanted to install and use my favorite PDF reader, and installed the 2.2 version that was in my download folder. After installing I updated to the 2835 version. I also run Secunia PSI (on the XP partition) which checks for patches and updates of Windows and other programs. Yesterday it showed that there was a new version of Foxit Reader available. I updated the copy on my XP install, then rebooted and opened Foxit Reader in Vista and had it update. When I saw this morning that Secunia PSI was still showing the old version on the Vista partition, I booted into Vista, and opened Foxit and had it check for updates. The 2923 build did not show. So I uninstalled the old version, rebooted, downloaded the 2923 build and installed it. Now Secunia is happy:1_11:. Just curious why the update did not work.

Hello BigMac,

Thanks much for your choose of Foxit Reader. You don't need to reboot after update or install foxit reader. Just restart foxit reader, and you will got updated. I think somehow the update pakage didn't be downloaded completely, that's why no update.
