Hi,
I just recently discovered Foxit and am I glad to get rid of that bloated adobe reader.
Anyways, does anyone know how to make Foxit open an online document as it is downloading? For example, I am using IE7 and I click to open a large pdf file (say about 10 MB). Is there a way so that Foxit immediately shows the parts it has downloaded instead of waiting for the entire download to finish before showing anything (kind of like streaming a document)? Adobe reader could do this and I hope Foxit can as well since it speeds things up because I can read the first couple pages while the rest of the document loads.
Secondly, I don't know if it is a bug but if I am reading an online pdf and iconize the window, when I maximize it again, it always goes back to page 1. It would be nice if it remembered where I was. For pdfs on my harddrive, this problem does not exist, it only happens for pdfs downloaded from the internet and opened within IE7.
I am using Windows XP Pro SP3 if that helps.
Thank you,
John
