Hi
We receive lots of Adobe pdf's created be an online website.
When we try to open them in Foxit a Foxit Alert pops up saying that
" This PDF form requires a newer version of Adobe Reader. Without a newer version, the form may be displayed, but it might not work properly. Some form elements might not be visible at all. If an internet connection is available, clicking OK will download and install the latest version"
So I upgraded to v2.3 and still get the same message -
If I click OK it opens the pdf but in the Doc Msg Bar it says " This doc contains interactive form fields"
The data in the fields dos not display - but it does display within acrobat V7 and V8
any ideas

Hello steveculshaw,
I am not sure about the estimate time frame for fixing. But could you please send me a file sample? I will test it in our internal new edition to see if it has been fixed. I just could not find this type of file at this while. Thanks.

I am also having this issue. The Calif. WC court is going paperless and they are requiring that we use pdf forms. Although I fill all of the fields in, they all do not print. I think I have uploaded one of the documents, but they can also be accessed here http://www.dir.ca.gov/dwc/forms.html#EAMSForms.
Thank you for your help.

Hello Shadey4,
Thanks very much for your files. In fact, your pdf file displayed in Foxit Reader is same as in Adobe Reader except the push buttom "Print Form".
I have forwared this issue to developers.

I am seeing this issue as well. Any ideas on when the developers will have this fixed? This has been an on-going problem in the last several versions and I have to keep one computer around with Acrobat on it just to be able to fill out forms. It would be nice not to have to deal with Acrobat at all.
Thanks

Hi,
Is there any more news on the likely time until the next version as we're getting pressure to move back to Adobe Reader - something I'd really rather not do!
thanks.
