Cannot OPen Links in FoxIt Reader 2.3

I was wondering if I am doing something wrong or if there is some special key combo to open a URL (link) that is listed IN a PDF. I would like the link in the PDF to open the URL in Internet Explorer. I am using FoxIt Reader 2.3 if that helps. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
