Okay, what are we doing wrong?
I've got several files created by "adobe acrobat 8.1 combine files" as the properties says inside of Foxit Reader.
There are a variety of links to web sites and other types of files inside of these PDFs. These PDFs are from a CD that was received as result of taking a technical class. The other file types that are linked in to the PDFs are on this CD, too. The web site links are out on the internet. The instructor says no one else has this problem that we do.
So, I have to assume it is foxit software. I've looked up in the FAQ and here on the forum. All I could find was a hiccup about links opening in IE instead of Firefox. But that's not our problem. The problem these files won't open, AT ALL.
I can't find anything in the menus that I'm overlooking. So what gives? Am I still missing something? Or is there a problem b/t Acrobat 8.1 and Foxit Reader?
I'm "this" close to loading acrobat back up on the computer. (ugh, I'd rather not b/c it is SUCH a memory hog and slows down my computer so much.)
Oh and we upgraded to ver 2.3, and the problem still exists. (We run xp sp2, btw.)
Thanks!
