It would be great to have an Undo/Redo option with respective keyboard shortcuts ctrl-z/shift-ctrl-z.

Thanks

Hi there,

I see multiple threads about implementing an undo/redo function in Foxit in these forums, including this one which is over two years old and states that such a feature is forthcoming. Is this still on the agenda, and if so when is it likely to be available?

On a related note, what do you guys at Foxit actually do with the user feedback you receive in this forum? I can see generally you are very good at replying with something like 'your feedback has been forwarded to the developers', but taking a look at even some of the very old feature request threads, it seems as if little of the feedback is ever acted on. I like Foxit reader, but there are numerous little things which annoy me about it, such as the lack of undo/redo, toolbars which pop up and cannot be hidden (the format tools), the lack of customizable keyboard shortcuts and so on. Although I don't expect every comment I make to be taken on board, and I appreciate Foxit has it's own plans as to where to take the product next, it would be nice to see the developers being a little more responsive to user feedback in general.

Regards,

Ken

Thanks for your comments.

Undo/Redo for annotations will be added to Foxit Phantom. The developers has started working on this feature.

So there are no plans to introduce basic functionality like this to the pro pack?

I think so. But I can't say for sure, that will be decided by markters. Thanks.

I concur w/ ken274 that there are numerous little things which annoy me, little has been done to fix them,
e.g. print stack errors, black page, cannot open acrobat 9 pdf files, particular layered pdf files cannot be printed or printing showing grey shade, embeded images was printed rotated 180 degree. Those are non issues if I use acrobat or acrobat reader.

Thanks for that.

1. print stack errors. This error shall have been fixed in version 3.0. If you still have this problem, please give us more info containing the error text.

2. cannot open acrobat 9 pdf files. Yes, some of files can't be open. Can you please supply us a file sample to show me what type of file you were exactly talking about.

3. particular layered pdf files cannot be printed or printing showing grey shade. Since 3.0 we have added controls for layers, layered files shall be handled correctly since then. If not, please clarify this case.

4.embeded images was printed rotated 180 degree. I don't know this. Please kindly explain it with examples.

Many thanks for your post.
