Hi everybody.
I just found out about Foxit today, and have been using it to edit and fill out forms for work. I use a tablet-laptop convertible (hp tx1000) on vista 64bit. Vista has lots of ways to integrate tablet functionality into different programs, and one of these is its Input Panel, which can be used to take written input and generate text output.
Since I usually use my laptop in conventional laptop fashion (using the keyboard and mouse for input), I have the input panel set to be unobtrusive. Yet whenever I click on a field in Foxit, the input panel pops up, ready for use. Clicking on its "close" button (the X in the upper right corner) does not dismiss it; the only way to make it disappear is to right-click the Input Panel button on the Start bar.
I looked through the Foxit options, but couldn't find one that showed how to turn this "feature" off. I find it annoying that the Input Panel will pop up and not go away, but that's the only thing I find annoying about this software. Foxit is the only software that causes it to pop up out of nowhere, and if I alt-tab (to firefox or excel or any other program) the Input Panel goes to the back with Foxit.
Can someone please help me? Thanks in advance.
