Hi,

I have installed Foxit Reader Pro on my System.

Could please anyone tell me, which settings have to be done to show PDFs embedded in my Mozilla Firefox browser?

When using a link to a PDF Foxit is now opend in a ceompletely new and independent window. When using IE Foxit is opened embedded.

System:
IE 7
FF 3.0.3
Win XP SP3
Foxit 2.3 (Build 3309)

Thanks for answers!
If more information is needed, please do not hesitate to ask for.

Regards,

A plugin for firefox has been developed and will be released with our next new version.

A plugin for firefox has been developed and will be released with our next new version.

For the meanwhile (which means it lasts a while? :1_05:), the following workaround will do it:

- download and install the firefox addon called 'IE Tab'
- go to the IETab options, in the first tab you can define url patterns to be ALWAYS opened in IETab: add a rule for '*.pdf'

With this, all pdfs will be opened through the IE browser engine within firefox.

Yup, Currently IE Tab addon is an alternative way to make pdf open within firefox.
