Hi all,

i am using foxit reader for some time now and i am searching for a plugin (?) that enables a mouse over preview for the windows explorer.

I use the detail view and saw such a preview thing on a friends mac (please no mac/windows war here).

I added a tool that gives me such preview for pictures and text files but i cannot find anything for pdf files.

Any hint out there?

Sorry, I can't imagine what the function is, could you please be more specific?

OK, i'll do my very best...

open a windows explorer (e.g. my documents) there is a bunch of pdf files. if i hold the mouse curser over any of the pdf files i can see a small window popping up. it tells me some more or less detailed infos about the document (file type, last date changed, size).

i installed qt tab bar and it adds a nice preview feature but only for txt like files and picture formats. if i now hold the mouse curser over a txt file or a jpg i can see a preview popping up. additionally to the normal detailed infos, where i very quickly can see if i found the file i was looking for.

now i want the same function for pdf files. so i do not have to open each file in foxit reader. i know it's quick, because it's foxit reader ;) but a preview on mouse over would be fine. as i mentioned above, i saw it on a mac and found it useful.

thanx in advance

Oh, I see.
It seems like "thumbnails of pdf files in windows explorer".Right? :)

Raphael means 'Fast Preview', that's one of features of the QT TabBar for Window Explorer. Am I right?

If I am right, I personally think it needs QT TabBar producer to suppor fast preview for PDF files in Explorer. But I will talk with developers, maybe they may have a differnt idea.

yes, that's what i mean. only thing is that the size of the "thumbnails" is adjustable within QT TabBar, so that it would be a giant thumb (i set it to 800 x 600 ;)

but as far as i know the QT thingy is not under developement anymore (?)

If there is another tool or a foxit plugin, i would be thankful.

Ok, I will forward this to the developer team as a feature request, hopefully it will come out as you desire.
