Hi All

I have recently started using Foxit instead of the ponderously slow Acrobat Reader 9.0 that sometimes took up to 2 minutes to open an engineering drawing.

Foxit has worked fine with my deskjet and designjet printers, but today I took delivery of a Kyocera KM-1635 copier/laser printer. All applications print to this pronter fine (including Acrobat Reader) but when I try to print anything from Foxit, the status bar indicates the print is being sent, but nothing comes out of the printer. I then get a windows error message saying the application caused a problem with the spooler service. Then another error message pops up saying the spooler service has been stopped. I then need to reboot my computer to be able to print anything again.

Listed below is the results from the printer info exe file I found in another thread.

Operating System:
* OS : Windows Vista (TM) Home Premium(Service Pack 1)
* Ver: 6.0(6001)
* IE : 7.0.6001.18000
Printer that you select is " Kyocera KM-1635 GX ".

More printer's information:

* DriverVersion:
-> 259

* DriverPath:
-> C:\Windows\system32\spool\DRIVERS\W32X86\3\GXUC435 I.DLL
-> FileVersion: [ 0, 3, 0, 0 ]

* DataFile:
-> C:\Windows\system32\spool\DRIVERS\W32X86\3\GXG0011 0.MDX

* ConfigFile:
-> C:\Windows\system32\spool\DRIVERS\W32X86\3\GXUU435 I.DLL
-> FileVersion: [ 4, 3, 5, 18 ]

Please help, as I am back to using Acrobat 7.0 at the moment (as 8 and 9 are unusable), and Foxit has been great ..... until now! :1_32:

regards

Mark

So is this print problem related to a particular file?
Could you please make a screenshot of the error messages?
