Cool [Annoyance] Full Screen = Whole Page

Hi,

Every time I change to full screen my zoom setting gets reset and the whole page appears. Then I need to set the zoom back again to my custom setting to have the same zoom level as in the normal window mode.

That's not a big deal if I read the whole document in one go, but when I take notes or need to switch between windows frequently it's a pain.

Is there any option that allows to fix the zoom setting so that it doesn't change when switching to full screen?

This is the way Reader currently works. I will forward your request to our team for reference.

As I have said in my suggestion "Auto-hide" options vs. Full screen (Read it please!: http://forums.foxitsoftware.com/show...ght=fullscreen): By auto-hiding all the bars, or only those bars you prefer, you have a full-screen page with all the facilities and tools of the program in its non-fullscreen mode, and also with all the bars you want, e.g., tabbar, statusbar, ..... With Auto-Hide there is not any need to FullScreen mode!

Thanx for your suggestion but I'm not sure I would vote for your auto-hide feature. I think you want to implement something that is already there and works fine if not better ;-) You can still display some bars (if you want) in the full screen mode, if hiding everything is not to your taste (bt it is to mine :-)

I, for example, sometimes enable top-menu bar in that mode to still have an access to the array of Foxit tools while all the other clutter is not displayed (including non-foxit clutter, like bars that belong to the operating system etc.).

It's just that zoom resetting that drives me crazy

Hi dear ANGRY!!! basmond
Thanks for your attention! That's right; a suggestion is only a suggestion and nothing more. However, all of us use fullscreen to have a page without annoying elements, without any bar or panel, even Windows's taskbar. That's OK, but fullscreen mode is quite different from the normal mode of the program. A much better way is the ability of auto-hiding all the bars, even Windows's taskbar, to have a fullscreen page. This is the way to have a real fullscreen, together with all the facilities of normal mode! This solves also that zoom resetting that drives you beauty!
This was only the suggestion to dear Foxit Rader team! Forget it!
