Foxit Reader displays images upside down.
The attached file was created using Adobe PDF Writer 4.05. Foxit Reader 1.3 Beta build 0708 displays the images in it upside down when rotation = 0°. |

sks23cu,
readmes used to be read; I did and followed the instructions on first line under Windows-OS-support. If you have no GDIPLUS.DLL in your WinSys folder (or in Foxit install folder), get the file from Foxit by using link in 'readme'. result: pictures OK. |

Sample file displays fine. |

I still have this problem. I have tried the PDF file with gdiplus in either the windows/system folder or the folder that foxit is installed. In either case the pictures are upside down.
The pictures display properly using the Adobe PDF reader. |

joe935, I tried your sample file with Build0819 under Windows XP and found it displays fine.
To solve this problem, we need first to duplicate the problem. However, we have tried this sample file under different OS and still fail to locate the problem. Anyone, any suggestion to duplicate the problem will be very helpful to fix this problem! |

I guess this must be a problem in windows 98.
I just installed version 1.3 build 0913. and it still shows images upside down. I went to the Microsoft site and downloaded the DLL file again, Installed it in the Windows/System folder and that didn't help any. But here is something strange. If i do a rotate clockwise all the images are aligned with the text. However the text now displayd vertically and the page still must be scrolled vertically. I would have thought That when this is done i would have to scroll Horizontally. Am I wrong? One more thing. Should this gdiplus.dll file be registered? Because if I try to register it with regserv32, I get the following message: "Gdiplus.dll was loaded but the dll registerserver entry point was not found" If I can be of any assistance in helping to solve the problem, Just ask. I tried the sample file to rotate 90 degree clockwise, and still didn't find the problem you descripted above. I am running Windows XP, RAM512 MB.
For gdiplus.dll file, we have not updated it for quite a long time. It does not need to be registered. |
