Default Persistent Word toolbar

Recently I noticed a new addition to the family - a persistent toolbar in MS Word for creating PDF files. I have killed this toolbar a couple of times, only to have it return. Evidently it's recreated whenever foxit is opened.

I don't mind the ad in foxit's own corner, but I do mind the program changing the layout of Word and messing with Word's normal.dot template. Normal.dot is too important to be messed with.

I like the idea of a pdf creater function, but buried in the menus or print dialog is good enough for me. How can I get this toolbar permanently off Word?

Thanks,
p.

Right click on Word toolbar, and unselect Foxit PDF Creator will make Foxit icon permanently off. That's the way it usally works. Can't it effect in your machine?

Hmmm. That seems to have worked. Not sure why it didn't before, or why actually removing the toolbar from Word via Customize wasn't permanent either. I'll keep watching.

Thanks,
p.
