awachsman is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Unable to see or select text in top portion of pdf
When viewing a document in Adobe Acrobat, I see entries at the top of the display which do not display in PDF Editor.

What accounts for this and is there a workaround?

Do you refer PDF annotation? Foxit PDF Editor presently could not edit the annotation.
