Question New Screen

What does the New Screen upgrade involve or change? Will it change the DPI, or the Grey Scale? I'm sure others are wondering also. maybe I'm not asking the right Questions. Just trying to understand how it will be different from what the present specs are. Thanks

The new screen is "brighter" having more contrast and also it's speed is faster.

Wow, that's great! Is it using the new Epson controller to do so? I mean, when refreshing the screen is it going to refresh the whole of it or only the required part? Thanks a lot!

This post #59 on Mobilread Claims the epson controller is not being used. It could be that the poster is misinformed or that the specifications have changed since.
