Default And the market?

I do hope you guys at Foxit check the threads in this forum, 'cause I'd just like to ask you: What's the market for your eSlick Reader? Did you know that there are a dozen or so similar devices on the market already (actually it might be much more, I just stopped counting after 12)? Well, maybe they all, your product included, have their specific advantages.
But my first thought was: "Oh no, not an other device!" I just counted my devices that play mp3-files and came up with six, so why would I want to get another one?
And all this talk about "electronic ink"! Everybody does it, but people are not so much interested in features, but in solutions for their needs.
And there are two main groups of book readers:
"Academical" book readers like students etc.
and "private" book readers.
What are their needs? How do they get their books into electronic form etc etc.
Take e.g. the thousands of free books in the Gutenberg project, most of them only in html and plain text formats. How does one get those on one's portable devices - in an easy to use readable form (incl. bookmarks, converting links etc.)? I think that's something worth thinking about.

What I - and that's maybe just me - really would need is a professional reading software both for my notebook computer but first of all for my iPhone.
Did I forget to tell you that I'm a big fan of your company and your products? From time to time I write mails to people, which put a link to Adobe's website on their webpages, esp. to public institutions, which are supposed to be unbiased with regards to recommending commercial products, and ask them to link to your website as well.

So I know a bit (not more) about your products and your capabilities, and I guess it wouldn't take a huge effort from your side to develop a product for the iPhone. Please!

Well, I must tell you one thing, the market is here! There are many e-ink devices out there, but none of them does a good job with regard to pdfs, and you are already very aware of us having most of our documents in that format.

This means that having Foxit entering this market is very big news, as pdf related software is the company's main business, so we all expect the eSlick to be a couple of steps ahead in this aspect. The price is also awesome, so yes, every device has specific advantages over the others, but eSlick's is actually a critical one (even more, if ereader is finally suported it will be the only device with this capability).
