There is no pressure. They still don't support PDF files, and they didn't change their price.

We are constantly working on the software, and so far so good for pdf support. I think that customers will be very pleased at it.

The limitation of current Kindle is its lack of PDF support.
BUT, it's part of a much big picture involving publishers, bloggers, and many many more.

If it's got PDF support one day, I am willing to pay 100$ more for the convenience
of free access to many websites, e.g. wikipedia, and read free book samples.

But eslick can never do that.

I think your overstepping just a little with "But eslick can never do that. " You never can tell The future of any well accepted product. The superior PDF support might be the fuel that's needed in the E-ink market. E-ink Color will be the next major breakthrough to captivate. Just my 2 cents worth.

What do you mean eSlick can never do that? eSlick can take anything from websites that is converted to PDF's. And, Jack is right, first step is PDF, and publishers will follow. Just be patient.

By the way, E-ink color still won't happen this year. :(

Sorry, I was not very clear.

What I really meant was the current eslick hardware does not have
network connection, so you can not download books, check wikipedia
anywhere.

Of course Foxit can come up with an enhanced version that's got wireless
connection.
