Is The Ereader Format a definite go at release ? Also any news on when the first batch will begin shipping ?

Ereader format will support in our later versions.

The timetable is on March. We will inform all pre-order customers via email before shipping.

Will the first batch be upgradeable with a rom or firmware update for Ereader Format support?

I can't say for sure now. But I believe it can be upgradeable.

Hey Jack, yes the software is upgradeable. I've upgraded it many times on the prototype device.
