Default Black flash when changing pages?

On the video I see that every time you change a page, it goes black for a moment. I haven't noticed this on other eink devices. Is this a software thing? If so, any plans to change it?

Most other eink devices like the Sony and Kindle do this refreshing.

It's something present in all current e-ink technology devices. They all do this. Look at real-world demo videos and you'll see this. The marketting videos (ie. amazon etc..) aren't gonna show that kind of thing because it's common for the technology and they don't want that to discourage people from buying them.
