Random thoughts
FYI, my out-of-the-box unit takes about 4.5 hours to turn off the charging LED, using the AC adapter. This seems perfectly normal.
No matter how good the unit is, there is an inherent conflict between a 6 inch screen and aging vision. It took a while, but I am now inclined to believe that a combination of the 'fit content width' and the 'landscape' modes is largely successful in dealing with this problem. I believe that neither Kindle model has landscape capability. Regards, Don
