i tried to use creater to create the patents pdf file for the uspto office, but it was rejected as PDF format not compatible. i am using version 2.0.0 0725
problems are : 1) create the pdf file from ms word, submitted to uspto EFS-Web, it was rejected as "The attached PDF file references a non-embedded font: Arial. Please remove file, embed the font and reattach.", same error message for various other fonts... here are the excerpts from uspto doc PDF Creators Compatible with EFS-Web EFS-Web accepts standard PDF documents up to 25 megaby tes. The most common versions of commercial PDF Writer software that work with EFS-Web include: • Adobe Acrobat Professional • ABXPDF Writer (Freeware) • Open Office (Freeware) • Easy Office (Ad ware) • Cute PDF (Freeware) • PDF Redirect (Freeware) • PDF 995 (Ad ware) • Primo PDF (Freeware) best, |
