When could Foxit PDF Edit support mouse drag/drop to open pdf files
(just like Foxit Reader)? PDF Edit 1.3 build 0912 doesn't. Thank you. |

It could be done so far as I test it. You can drag PDF to PED, loose your mouse, then it will be opened exactly like Foxit Reader.

You see,PED doesn't support drag/drop while PRD supports.
Picture is big than 600*280,and can't be posted,so I post a zip file, include 2 files: ped.png and prd.png. Quote:

Could you post the original PDF file here or send to support@foxitsoftware.com?

On my PC,winxp sp2 CN,
Foxit Reader supports drop/drag on any pdf file , but PED supports none. So no need what what the pdf file , Why Reader can but PED cannot? :( What's wrong? Quote:

The reason that I asked your sample file is that I doubt you encounter a file-dependent problem. PED does support mouse drag/drop feature exactly like Reader does. Just left click a PDF, drag it to overlap PED icon, loose your mouse, it will be automatically opened. It has nothing to do with system language.

I got what you meant. I don't think this is a "feature exactly like..." .
See, you cannot drag/drop a file to the PED's main window, while you can do it on Foxit Reader. Quote:

Sorry, in this point, you are right. PED currently does not support drag/drop a file to its main window.
Our developers will implement this feature in the near future. |
