Arrow Need functions

Hello support,

I'm a product technical manager and we need to edit and extract information from PDF files from our product.

We already use a conveter named 'pdftotext'.

Now we need to control following features :
- open a PDF, find a specific Word and select it in reader
- create highlights with a note
- enumerate highlights

1/ Could we do all these features using your API ? I'm not sure. Is there a way to get this if we pay for it ?
2/ What is the cost to deliver Foxit PDF Reader allowing to control above features with our tool ?

Thanks for your answer.

Hi xtof,

The features you requested are not supported in current DLL or ActiveX.
However, we are developing a new ActiveX which will fully support the annotation and search functions you want.
This new version of ActiveX will be available at the beginning of next year.
So please check back for the update.

William

Thanks William, This sounds great.

Could we be beta-users for this new release ?

I think I need to contact sales for my second question.

Hi xtof,

We don't have a specific delivery date.
However, I can tell you that, this new version will support: text searching, text selection and annotation access.
Thank you for your patience.
