PDF Editor crashing

Hi, I'm having real problems with the editor. I've downloaded the evaluation version to try and half way through editing a document, the software closes down losing all my work.
This doesn't appear to be tied to any one action, it can be when I'm selecting an item, changing a fill colour, trying to save a document etc. etc.
Currently using XP SP2 on a 2GB P4 machine with 512Mb RAM.

If you can help me sort this I will buy the software but not before.
