Earlier I have installed the Foxit Creator with its small icon in my Word. I didn't mind its being there, but after once when I tried to hide it, I could never make it reappear.
I just tried to reinstall the latest build of Creator & chose to have the icon. But still, it has not appeared in my doc. So, how do I create PDF from a Word doc? |

When you print your document, select Foxit PDF Printer instead of your actual printer. You'll be prompted for a filename.

Thanks, Andy.
But what if I am not printing the doc, but just trying to turn it into PDF? |

When you do the printing with Foxit PDF printer, your doc is converted to pdf. Or you can use the addin embeded into the word toolbar to do so.

The problem that Yam is referring to is the icon in Word disappearing. I am having that trouble too. It was there, then vanished. None of the Word options show a link to show the PDF Creator icon. I too reinstalled hoping for it to reappear on the tool bar. How can we get it back?

Something I noticed when playing around with the setting is if I activate the AutoText toolbar and show All Entries, every option in the list of All Entries has the items: Convert to PDF, Convert to PDF and Email, Settings and Help. None of them do anything.
Would that have anything to do with FPC_WordAddin.dll? I also have the JavaScript add-ins Foxit_JS_ExObjects.dll and js.dll. They are in the Foxit Creator folder. I copied them to the Windows\system32 folder but that did not make a difference. Any ideas here? Jim |
