Romanian Translation

Am tradus Foxit Reader în română. Traducerea merge cu versiunea 4.0 a programului. Ultima versiune a traducerii este disponibilă (alături de instrucţiunile de instalare) la adresa:

Traducerea este ataşată şi la acest mesaj (FoxitReader-4.0-RO.zip). Fila de limbă scoasă din arhiva ataşată trebuie pusă în dosarul de instalare al softului. Pentru a putea descărca fila de limbă română ataşată la acest mesaj este nevoie de înscrierea pe forum, care e gratuită.

Notă Importantă: Diacriticele (ăâîşţ) din meniurile programului se vor vedea corect doar dacă e setat în Windows ca la softurile cu interfaţa non-Unicode să fie afişate literele româneşti. Procedeul e foarte simplu şi este explicat mai jos.

Windows XP : Start>Control Panel>Regional and Language Options>clic pe tabul Advanced, apoi se alege opţiunea Romanian din meniul derulant şi se face clic pe butonul OK din josul ferestrei. E necesară repornirea sistemului pentru intrarea în vigoare a noii setări.

Windows Vista : Start>Control Panel>Clock, Language and Region>Regional and Language Options>clic pe tabul Administrative>clic pe butonul Change system locale, apoi se alege opţiunea Romanian (Romania) din meniul derulant şi se face clic pe butonul OK din josul ferestrei. E necesară repornirea sistemului pentru intrarea în vigoare a noii setări.

Hi ExellRill,

I guess you're talking about the localized Linux Reader.
After you got the .po source file from support, you may open it with Ultra Edit. Then all you need is translating the strings after "msgstr". Having done, you could send back the modified .po file to Foxit support. We'll convert the .po file to .mo one.

No, ExellRill is a spammer/troll. He copied a message posted in january 2007 on the VideoLAN translations forum. After that he pasted the message on this thread, probably also with a link to a spam page. You can see below the thread from which ExelRill took the first message.
