Thanks. It will be translated ASAP, probably today :)

Edit:

There is some error (unknown chars used, looks like chinese, or russian or... who knows)
starting from: <dlgitem id="15050" text.
This make my translation software crash.

See pic:

Please fix. Thanks.

Thanks Elisha :-)

Sorry for bother, but there are still some strings with problems:
Code:
<dlgitem id="13127" text="¡÷X:"/>
<dlgitem id="13128" text="¡÷Y:"/>
<string id="11198" text="None\nDollor($)\nDeutschmark(DM)\nEuro(€)\nGuilder(fl)\nFrance(F)\nKrona(kr)\nLira(L.)\nPeseta(Pts)\nPound(?¨º)\nYen(¡ê¡è)"/>
Moreover, this file cause weird behaviors in Foxit Reader menus.
Please test your English.xml in Foxit Reader. Rename it to whatever
language you like (let's say eg. lang_fr_fr.xml or lang_it_it.xml) and try
to use it. Then open a PDF and you will see what i mean.

My italian translation is ready and complete, but doesn't make
sense i publish it, until we solve all these issues.
I have just submitted it to your ticket support to investigate

Bye :)

There are some obsolete voices.
I have bolded them.
All these coins were replaced by Euro.

Whiteshark is right, unfortunately the file is still unusable. If you need more details I can offer them, but basically what you should do is to load the romanian file that I have attached to this message and see for yourself that although all the strings are translated, many options from the menus (Advanced Editing Tools, Commenting Tools, etc.) appear in english. The "File" menu does not appear when a file is opened inside Foxit and all the other menus are shifted to the left. There is also a redundant menu named "Help" that appears at the end of the Menu Bar, even if I have translated its title as "Ajutor", that also appears (correctly, but shifted to the left) as a menu title.

No needs to translate anything, muntealb.

Simply try to rename the supplied 'English.xml' to 'lang_ro_ro.xml',
then select romanian as language. Obviously in this way all the captions
will be still in english, but the wrong behaviour in Foxit is exactly the same.

Opening a PDF, the "File" item disappears from menu, and two
"Help" items are shown at the right side. One "Help" is coming out
from the translation, and the other from the builded-in language.

IMNSHE, this does happens cause many references in the language file
are most likely wrong or missing, so the software if forced to show
a... mixture of translated and builded-in captions everywhere :-(

Indeed, there is an easy method to verify that the english file is broken. But if the developers already knew that, why they did not fix it ?

The new english file has some modifications, including references (the numbers associated with the strings), but that is not enough, the main problem still exists.

Whiteshark, I read on the Maxthon forum about you quest for a text comparing tool to use with the english language files included with the versions of a software. The best one is included in the opensource text editor PSPad ( http://www.pspad.com/ ). Open the EnglishFile1 in PSPad, then go to Tools>Text Differences>Text diff with this file>Select the EnglishFile2>Open. Click on the button "Tile Horizontal" in the mini-toolbar just above the opened files to view the differences better.

hi,here is the brazilian portuguese language file but i got a problem:utf-8 is not displayed,please,check what could be wrong since i have no idea of what may be causing this.

SUGESTIONS:please put warnings all over the site to ppl come here to grab the english file here,i grabbed the one in the add-ons sections and wasted my time translating many of the things that are there till i decided to register in the forums and got the real language file that must be used.

other sugestion,ALWAYS put the language file in the first post of the forum,exchange the old with the new one,i didnt notice that there was a english.xml down here till i looked the entire post,thanks for your attention and the program.
