Default Add permissions to PDFs

Could it be possible to add permissions to the created PDF files (deny print/copy/edit)?

Hi,

Foxit PDF Editor allows you to easily and efficiently change contents in any existing PDF files.
Please have a try.
Thanks much.

Default "wish list"/"to do list"

This is not what I meant. I actually mean deny other users (foxit and adobe alike) to prevent them from copying text or prevent them from printing the document or making annotations to the document ect. I think Creator can add these (permissions and passwords (to open the document)) and let PDF Editor add, change, and delete permissions. Foxit Reader already has "code" to recognize these permissions, just send this to the other programs to make the "code" or in oter words, prevent annotating, copying, printing, opening ect. Please to not reply with a Nitro PDF glib. Also, I was wondering why you made PDF Page Organizer and PDF Editor separate programs. Don't they do the same stuff except one has features that the other doesn't. I'm not in charge here, but ....would it to be easier to merge the two programs. In other words, dissolve the Page Organizer and "import" its features in PDF Editor. My reasoning behind this is that you present three "core" programs: Reader, Editor, and Creator. I suppose you could say that this form entry is a mix of a "wish list" and a "to do list". Overall, I am very pleased with the software you made. It basically is the same as Adobe, but without the hassles and bloat. Take Care Doug Biel

Hello Doug Bie,

Tks for you input. What you talking about "dissolving Organizer" will be considered

"add information to the title/subject/keywords information "
-I will take this as a feature request to our creator developer.

Hi - I understand exactly what you mean about needing to add permissions which would allow you to DENY permission to print, copy, extract text, etc. Did you ever find out if this is possible, and if so, how is it accomplished? Thanks

Approximately a total of 16 months between submitting my request and finding it as a feature. I guess good ideas take time to mature into something usable. :)

Foxit Phantom can support adding permissions to PDF files.
You could evaluate Foxit Phantom without an evaluation mark in a month.
Please have a try.
And this feature has been added in to-do-list of Foxit PDF Creator.
It will be included in our new version. The release day has not been determind.
