In pda device, most screen resolution is very small, qvga and vga.User must drag left, right,up,down to find where the contents they want to read.
Previouly,I use another pdf software,it is very unefficient. But it can view pdf as text and adjust text size.It is more user-friendly and more suitable for handheld reading mode. Other features I want to see on foxit is bookmark page and hardware buttons shortcut support. I know foxit is new developer on mobile platform. It has a lot of space to impove. But mobile foxit reader still impress me very much.No doubt it is the best pdf reader on WM. |

Foxit is working on a reflow feature that will help users to view PDF's much better.
There is also a bookmark feature. Please go to Menu>Go to>Bookmarks. Thank you for your input! |

From my experience, reflow is a feature that is desperately needed. Without out, reading a PDF becomes a chore on a handheld device. This is even more so with the introduction of Mobile Device Center for Vista, as there is no longer a plugin in Mobile Device Center to tag PDF's on syncronization like the previous version of Activesync 4.5. The only solution to this problem for Vista & Mobile Device Center owners is to purchase the $300 Adobe Acrobat Standard package to insert tags into the PDF's before transferring them to the device.
At least with the tagging, one could reflow PDF's using the free Adobe Reader 2.0. As more and more users convert to Vista and Mobile Device Center, they will have less and less use for PDF's on their devices due to the above problem. What's the status on the reflow option for the Foxit reader? I would definitely be interested. |
