Hi,
Please try the following step:
1. Open the command-line prompt
a. Start Menu/Run
b. Type “cmd”
c. Press ENTER

2. Using the pdffilt.dll filename and path, call regsvr32, i.e. at the command-line prompt, type:
a. regsvr32 “C:\Program Files\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF IFIlter\pdffilt.dll”
b. Press ENTER

3. You should see a regsvr32 window, confirming success: Close it.

I have PC with Win98SE and Foxit Reader 2.3 on it. When I tried to install the 32 bit PDF Ifilter it gave a similar error with "pdffilt.dll failed to register". I then ran regsvr32 to try to register it and got "dllregisterserver failed return code 0x80040201".

I really don't want to keep trying to get this to work. I don't need it that badly. How do I completely uninstall the PDF IFilter (files and registry entries) from my machine?

Thanks
