Mysterious license

I wanted to install it today, but the license agreement shown during installation says:

3. CONDITIONS: To be licensed to use Foxit PDF IFilter, You must:
[...]
c) Not controlling Foxit PDF IFilter from other application, except launching Foxit PDF IFilter;

I thought an IFilter is designed to be controlled by another application?
