I used to be able to save a downloaded .pdf file using Foxit. At least I think I did. When did this change or am I missing something??

Hello Ed,
Do you mean you can not save a .pdf file on the desktop with 2.3?

I'm using Firefox (latest version). When I download a .pdf file from wherever, the .pdf file is opened in a separate window but save from Foxit or save as from the File menu doesn't work. Save from Foxit tells me I need Foxit Pro. Save as from the File menu does nothing.
If I go into Firefox and change the way Firefox handles the file, ie, from open with Foxit to "save the file", then I do get it saved but have to then open explorer and go open the downloaded pdf manually.
Not that big a deal but I could swear I used to be able to save it from within Foxit. Might be a memory problem though.:1_32:

Puzzle me. I do as you described, saving is no problem.
“Save from Foxit tells me I need Foxit Pro.” give me an image please.

Christina,
I got my scenario's reversed. Clicking on the little diskette in the Foxit toolbar (says Save) does nothing. Clicking on File, Save as, then Save gives me the Foxit box that says the feature I want to use is part of Foxit Reader Pro Pack.
I don't know how to capture the message box from Foxit. Don't have any screen capture software and the box provides no "right click" functions other than move or close.

Yeah, Ed, That's right. If you do nothing on the document, the Save option is greyed and then, if you do any modifications with the none free tools, reader will prompt you with that pop-up message box when you save as the document.
