  • Submit Button does not seem to perform specified action

    I have a PDF form with a submit button. The form was created in Adobe Acrobat. The submit button has a 'Mouse Up' trigger with 'Run a JavaScript' as it's action.
    The JavaScript is a simple script to submit the entire PDF to an http server.

    this.submitForm({cURL:"http://xxx:yyyy/post/", cSubmitAs: "PDF" });

    If I open the file in the Mobile FoxitPDF application on IOS (v4.7.1.1118) and hit the submit button, I get a little spinner that says it's submitting but then it disappears. If I look on the server, I find that nothing was actually submitted and that the server was not even accessed. To ensure that I have access to the server from the iPad, I am able to use Safari to access the server and can access the server. So it's not a connectivity issue.

    If I open the same file in FoxItPDF Desktop for Windows (7.2.8.1124) and hit the submit button, the process works as expected.

    I guess my questions are:
    1. Should this work through the Mobile App?
    2. If it should, is there anyway to troubleshoot what's happening as I'm getting zero feedback from the app?

    Thanks!
