  • crash Landscape Printing Problem

    System: Windows 10, 64 bit, 32GB RAM, nVidia 970, 4K resolution
    Version: 7.3.0.118

    Background:
I use a set of 600+ PDFs created in FPDF (http://www.fpdf.org/]). They are A4-landscape format, contain multiple tables of numerical data and are approx 36K in size each. The specified font throughout is Arial.

    Problem:
Fox Reader crashes after printing three PDFs in Landscape Mode.

    Examples of Behaviour:
    1. Load five PDFs - no problems.

    2. Load five PDFs, printing each one in Portrait (default) mode after loading - no problems.

    3. Load five PDFs, setting page layout to Landscape mode after loading the first file and printing each one after loading - Reader crashes and quits after printing the third PDF. On the printout, larger fonts are printed in outline rather than filled, with the exception of any lower-case L.

    4. Load five PDFs, printing the first one in Landscape but not printing any others - no problems.

    5. Load five PDFs, printing each one in Landscape but closing the file after printing - Reader crashes and quits after the third file is printed, as example 3.

1:Your OS information(eg:mine is windows7x32bit) ,please go to "HELP"menu in Foxit Reader>"About Foxit Reader"to check its version information.
2:Send us those five PDF samples.
3:We are stil not very clear about the following procedure that you referred:
Load five PDFs, setting page layout to Landscape mode after loading the first file and printing each one after loading - Reader crashes and quits after printing the third PDF. On the printout, larger fonts are printed in outline rather than filled, with the exception of any lower-case L.
It is better if you can record a video to show us how you can replicate such issue on your part at your convenience. Here's a small video making tool that requires no installation. You may simply unzip it then double-click on the .exe to start
    http://sync-cn.foxitsoftware.com/iss...screen2exe.zip
You may choose to upload the video file to any cloud storage(such as dropbox) and then share us with the link where we can access it.
Thanks in advance for your help to gather all of the above requested information for us.
