  • foxit doesn't show up in installed programs in linux mint

I just installed Linux Mint and got Foxit for Linux since the native PDF reader doesn't have tabs. Unfortunately, although Foxit installed it doesn't show up in Installed Programs or the main menu. This makes it difficult to start. I have to hunt down a pdf and click on it to start Foxit, which I have set to reopen all pdfs I was reading, so I'd like to just have an icon for Foxit. Is there a way to make it show up? I'm not that familiar with Linux. I installed it mainly to run Sage Math which otherwise has to run in a slow virtualbox.
