  • Can't shrink reader

The reader is enormous on my screen, making it hard to run python editor beside it as I study a python book. Even though it has a huge enpty border I can't seem to shrink the reader to less than 60% or so of a wide Visio screen. It shrinks okay in windows but I'm using the linux mint version.

Linux Mint 18.1 Cinnamon 64 bit. Vizio monitor. Text is Sage Beginners Guide. As you can see by the screen shot Foxit takes up most of the screen with a huge, useless margin, and I can't make it smaller by edge-dragging. Makes having a wide monitor kind of useless. I can get rid of the margin with Fit Visible but then the letters are Enormous and it still hogs the screen.
