  • How to create navigation (buttons) that work in Foxit PDF

    Hi,
I have created an interactive pdf that contains a number of buttons which navigation to different pages
However, when the button/text is clicked in Foxit PDF... an error message is displayed:
    "Warning
    Not supported form action
    OK"

Whilst it would be possible to use a "hyperlink" .. they are restricted to only jumping to a specific page rather than a location on a page - and its currently unknown how many pages will be in the final draft.

I am creating the PDF in the latest version of InDesign.
Any thoughts on how to make the buttons work?

    -Thanks

Would you please send us the pdf file in question for internal test?

      Hi Lyndi,
Here is a pdf that shows the issues.
Hyperlinks work ok.. but when there are buttons (e.g goto next page .. or goto previous page)... there is an error message in the foxit reader.
Works correctly in desktop pdf viewer.

      Thanks

        Hi Sugarfree ,
I test your file in Foxit Reader9 , the buttons are working, we do not reproduce the error you get, please help to check the version of Foxit Reader you are using, and make a screenshot of error.

Sorry for the delay reply. Now our Foxit Reader for android does not support form action, so you get the warning, and I have forwarded the request to our team, they will consider it in future version, report ID: Mobile-2052.

                Hi lyndi_wu .
Thanks for letting me know... however.. i am somewhat confused.
On 11-15-2017, 02:21 AM.. you indicated that you tested it and it worked.
On 11-19-2017, 12:00 AM.. I indicated what version/os i was having issues with... namely iOS on iPad (v 6.1.0.111)
On 12-05-2017, 06:35 AM .. you indicated that it doesnt work on Android...

But I am using iOS not Android.. and previously you stated it does work but on what OS/version did you test on?

                Thanks
