How can I view two PDF files at once - to refer back and forth between them. Either by opening two windows within the Reader, or by invoking a second copy of Reader in Win 7? It seems like something most people want to do, but how?

Please open Foxit, go to File>Preferences>Document, check the option"Allow multiple Instances", click on OK, then you can open two pdf files with two Foxit windows, please check if it is you want.

      Hi Thales,

You could open files in different Foxit Reader windows by checking the option 'allow multiple instances' under File -- Preferences -- Documents.

"Allow multiple Instances" is not available for the Linux version.

This is annoying. Many users would like this feature to be added to the Linux version.

If everything goes well, Foxit Reader for Linux version 3.1 should support to open multiple PDF files in separate windows(allow multiple instance). You may keep an eye out for it. Thank you.
