The Adobe Acrobat Application has an image extracting feature that will allow their user's to easily extract images from the PDF files according to their needs. However, sometime the extract feature doesn't work due to various reasons, but you can do this using through PDF Image Extract tools.
If you want to do this problematically, you would need to use Foxit PDF SDK 5.1 to read the text from the source PDF and create text object to the destination PDF. The SDK 5.1 evaluation package contains samples of how to read text from a PDF and another one for adding text object to a PDF. Please go to https://www.foxitsoftware.com/products/sdk/pdf-sdk/ to sign up for a evaluation package. The PDF to text demo can be found at "samples\simple_sample\pdf2text" and the text to text object can be found at "samples\simple_sample\pdfpageobjects." Another option is to render section of data from the source PDF as images and to apply the images in the destination data as image objects. Please see "samples\simple_sample\pdf2img" on how to render PDF as images. To alter the sample to render by section, change the page matrix for the rendering.
